If you are looking for a standard, boring stay with dry beds and clean sheets, look elsewhere. Condessa "Heaven" offers an experience that can only be described as biblical, specifically the part about the Great Flood. The exclusive amenities included: - Custom "Vintage" Bedding: The sheets came pre-stained with mysterious yellow marks, saving us the trouble of dirtying them ourselves. - An Immersive Water Feature: We were delighted to discover a ceiling leak that turned into a steady stream directly onto the main bed. Who needs a white noise machine when you can listen to the rhythmic dripping of questionable ceiling water into a bucket all night? - Exclusive "DIY" Maintenance: When we requested help, we were told the technician was "doing another task." We assume that task was more important than guests sleeping in a puddle. - Ghost Protocol Service: Despite the mold, the soaked mattress, and 2 out of 4 guests having nowhere to sleep, the host offered zero solutions. They did promise to ask their "financial department" about compensation, but I assume that department is located in the same imaginary land as their cleaning crew. If this is "Heaven," I’m terrified to see what they think Hell looks like. To sum it up, if you enjoy mold, wet mattresses, dirty sheets and customer service that ghosts you faster than a bad date, this is the place for you.
