Seascape Beach Resort Oslob

the seaview, the location, the security, the staff esp GINA, love her..! she helped organised all out tours and transport.., and even helped us confirm our next accommodation… nothing is too troublesome for her … and really makes our stay very memorable… the food is good ..

the water pressure and heating wasn’t really the best … but we got by … having read the review .. we brought our own amenities, namely towels, toothbrush … even blankets! which really made our stay more comfortable..

Leaving

This place was not worth the price they charge, the room had no chairs, tables, or fridge .. as well as no blanket and the beds are super uncomfortable (the mattress is a thin piece of foam) and constantly getting bitten by bugs throughout the night, also think this place has BED BUGS ,staff aren't very helpful and seem to be unable to assist with anything including organize any activities eg whale sharks ect, the kitchen staff seem to be annoyed by asking them to order meals ect.. this place is approximately like 6kms from town.. (what also has nothing) The beachfront is quite nice but otherwise. Also the hot water in the room has 2 functions , burn your skin off or cold

Breakfast was good and although we were real late returning from swimming with the whale sharks, the host was so kind enough to still serve us breakfast although it had passed their breakfast hours. Really kind and accomodative. Building was also beautiful

Beds were hard as mattess was thin, blankets were thin sheet, shower head loose, hot water inconsistent and bathroom did not have shower area partitioned resulting in floor all wet after bath.

Gina the hotel manager is a huge character full of life and charm. We were in Cebu and wanted to do the kawasan falls , moalboal Pescador sardines and turtle , Oslob whale experience and Sumilon island and then return to Cebu. Gina sorted everything out and at a very reasonable price too. Hotel is simple, very clean and is in a stunning location over looking the sea with great sunrise (although we didn’t see as we were up and Out from early to see whales) We were super lucky just standing in a wall looking out to sea and we spotted 6 sea turtles one which came very close just swimming around. Will def go back when we return. Restaurant is mainly local food and made with love and very tasty.

All the staff were truly amazing and wonderful. Relaxed atmosphere. Great view of turtles coming up for air from the shore.

There wasn’t much to dislike, but I offer the following as suggestions for improvements / advice: Stone drive way that leads into dining area slightly painful to walk on with flip flops. Plastic chairs in kitchen area not giving the greatest of vibes. No non sugar fizzy drinks available. No safe for valuables (but they did look after stuff at reception). Electric shower seemed to have an Earth cable unattached and not properly configured (looked unsafe). Time consuming to get to other places (shops, atm, whale watching) as the roads are phenomenally bad around Oslob, and in a motorbike tricycle it can be painful on your back hitting all the bumps along the way. All the bus drivers feel they should be next level Formula 1 drivers, so you take your life in your hands being in a tricycle on the road.

Breakfast was just basic sandwich and juice

Improve on the quality of beds and mattress. The edges of the bed are too sharp and the rooms being so small, i hurt my legs , they edges peeled the skin on my leg .
