Beach Front Bungalow at Pacific Beach

The bungalow was beautiful! It was clean and very well managed. It was so close to the beach and had amenities in case you forgot something. We will definitely stay here again!

Everything was perfect.

The location to watch fireworks on the 4th was amazing. Several things were broken like front door lock. We literally had to go through neighbors' home to back and climb through the window to get in. We had several bags of groceries and a kid with a full diaper when we were locked out. So, if that wasn't bad enough. That was on Sat. It took time from our day. Then, on Monday afternoon, we had to cut our day short and get back to greet locksmith who, too, took 4 hours of prime beach time and arrived 2 hours later than we were told to be there. So a total of 8 hours of our vacation was taken from us. The apartment was not locked all day Sunday, so we had to stay close. Then, the owner accused us of vomiting in the toilet and leaving the mess that her house kept charged her for. She wanted us to pay extra for that! That was a lie, and I have a video to show that was a lie. Then the fan in the bedroom was broken it was super hot she tried to have us stay in another day to get that fixed. Also, the closet in the primary bedroom was stuffed full of owners' clothes, so it could not be used, and the door was broken and hanging there looking ugly . I believe I should be compensated for at least 1 full day or a free weekend for all the trouble.

Excellent location in a beachfront building. Comfortable beds in the bedrooms. Kitchen adequately staffed. All the essentials for the kitchen and lots of bathroom and beach items available for use too. I loved that the beach is on a calm bay so you won’t get knocked down by large waves. Along a great wide walking and biking pathway. Communication is excellent with the owner.

Seaweed beds not far offshore. Just feels weird under the feet but not a deterrent. Wear water shoes if you have them.

Easy access to the beach and the overall cleanliness of the property. We had an awesome time and will visit again next year

Wonderful location, really friendly and helpful host, very clear instructions, cute bungalow w/ beach decor, would stay again!

A bit small and lived in, not a bad thing, just to be aware of (no desk or table to work from home on, but there is a kitchen bar; tight for four of us to fit in the living room and watch TV or something... but just walk to the beach instead!)

There are no proper curtains and neighbours can look inside.

The host was very easy to communicate, everything worked as it was promised.

Really good location, great friendly & helpful host (Dana) who was prompt with communication and the fact there were bikes available to use was a real bonus!
