"Excellent value, great location, lovely well furnished house."

Rear yard was unkempt, with broken fencing and overgrown shrubs. It was the only disappointment.

"Nice accommodation in a beautiful area. Extra touches like lots of toilets rolls, bin bags etc was great."

8.0

Great location, attractive property and good facilities. Nice touches like milk, tea, shortbread, lots of toilets rolls and cleaning supplies.

Floors were dirty. We are a ‘no shoe’ house but after noticing our white socks were black from the floors we kept our shoes on. We didn’t feel it was right for us to start mopping floors when we’d just arrived and didn’t want to be disrupted by cleaning staff during our short stay. We are a mega tall family so the upper level was not great for us but to be expected in property of this age.

"Would definitely stay again"

8.0

Location, comfy beds, cosy feel, well equipped kitchen, lovely smeg cooker and fridge.

Lumpy pillow in top bedroom, top bedroom could have done with a mirror or higher dressing table to get ready.

"A Comfy place to stay that suited our visit to the area, but don't bring a car."

8.0

The Beds were very comfy, and as a whole, so was the property. The Kitchen sink tap was wobbly but party from that it was hard to criticise the property.

'Parking,' it said on the street, but which street? We had to hunt down a parking place down by the Harbour. The Locals put up notices asking you not to park in front of their windows. One of our parties was disabled, and we noticed a 'Disabled' spot yards away. A Man came out shouting that the space was for his wife, although there was nothing to indicate it was 'Private.

"Beautiful part of Scotland."

Location.

Lack of maintenance. Temperamental doors - front door difficult to open, rouge toilet flushing, stained worktops.
