Host (Ms. Tugce) was a very polite and friendly person. The location is within walking distance of the port and cafes. The view was beautiful, the interior of the house was spacious enough. We would like to visit again.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. Everything was as described.

This was a very large and comfortable apartment in a great location. It's walking distance to the main shops/port, there is plenty of street parking nearby and a bonus running track right behind the apartment if anyone is feeling ambitions on their holiday! The apartment was clean and spacious. We loved the outdoor space as it was large enough to seat 6. Yes, there was street noise, but because the balcony was large, you didn't see the cars going by and the sunrise views were amazing. The kitchen was minimal, but had enough to cook simple meals for breakfast/snacks before exploring the island.

We were only given 1 set of keys that were attached to a key card that turned on the electricity. The keys needed to remain in the apartment in order to operate the lights and A/C units. We were a multigenerational family (with the eldest being in their late 70s) so were not always together and this quickly became a problem. Either the persons in the apartment had to sit in the dark while others were out or if coming home late, the entire apartment was woken up to buzz the person in. The host refused to offer a second set of keys and when we explained the situation her response was simply "that's not my problem." She also liked to say how other guests never complained so that it must just be us. Second, we were only given 1 towel per person for 5 nights. When we asked for an extra we were told no. Our towels were gross by the end of our stay and it's not realistic to expect guests to wait a full day for towels to dry if laundering (assuming they even dry!). There were no blankets in the apartment at all. We asked for one and were told it would be given to us, but we never received it. Also the A/C units were programed to stay at 25 degrees (77F). This was extremely inconvenient when first cooling down the apartment or on very hot nights (which is likely why she doesn't provide blankets, but one night the temp dropped so much that we actually turned on the heat since we had no blanket!). A few extra trash bags would have also been nice so we could refresh the cans. This host clearly was interested in providing the minimum amount of service and charging the maximum price. While the apartment is great, the hospitality is below standard.

The apartment was clean, well equipped and well located within walking distance to restaurants.

It was a little noisy at night. We had to use ear plugs to sleep.

This place rocked!! Apartment was spacious, spotless and modern. Super fast free Wifi connection and we were able to instantly connect by just scanning a QR code on the router. HUGE balcony perfect for relaxing and winding down in the evening. Apartment was just a short walk to all of the restaurants and cafes along the water, convenient to ferries, and to the shopping area within Chios. My wife and i are very security conscious and this apartment met all needs. Bedrooms were spacious with tons of closet space if needed for longer stays. Fully equipped modern kitchen. 2 nice bathrooms. The host Tugce was amazing, responsive to all requests and questions at all times of day.

Two slight downsides, although in no way would impact a perfect 10 rating: 1) No parking on site. There are some lots nearby and off street parking that is safe but during peak travel seasons it would likely be difficult to find parking nearby if you plan to come and go a lot. 2) The location during peak season will likely be noisy outside of the apartment given it's located on top of a store and on one of the primary routes into and out of the port. Be cautious while booking to be sure you are getting what you reserved. Recommend contacting the hosts to confirm. We specifically booked this apartment due to it being advertised as a 3 BR / 2 BA. Our kids are too old to share a bed anymore so we wanted the third room. When we arrived, only 2 BR were prepared. We contacted the host who informed that our reservation was only for 4 people so thus we only had 2 BR. It was a simple fix and only an extra 50 euro to prepare the third BR and as noted above Tugce was very quick to respond and help us resolve the situation.

An ideal base to explore the island from; you need a car to explore Chios properly, and the huge bonus of this apartment is the nearby large, free car park, in which we always found a space. It's a very nice, spacious, well-appointed apartment with all you need for a comfortable stay. Very close to the port and all the many restaurants along the front. We stayed here firstly for 4 days, then left to go off to Ikaria for a few days (early ferry, so being next to the port was ideal), then came back for another 3 days. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful with check-in times, because we arrived very early the second time after an overnight ferry! We'd recommend this apartment to anybody looking for a comfortable, well-located, reasonably priced base for exploring the lovely island of Chios.

Very nicely appointed apartment, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Good location in terms of large, free car park nearby (Chios town is a nightmare for parking!), and just a couple of minutes walk to the waterfront and all the restaurants, shops, bars etc. Hosts very helpful and flexible with regards to arrival times; we arrived very early on our second stay, and the lovely Dora came early to let us in, which we greatly appreciated after an overnight ferry journey!

Only downside was the traffic noise outside; apartment is near a major road into the town, so a lot of traffic going by, but on the other hand we had the great benefit of the free parking lot nearby, so can't complain!
