Lesvos Tower House Komninos

Εντυπωσιακη αρχιτεκτονικη. Κατι ιδιαιτερο και ξεχωριστο. Σαν να βρισκεσαι σε μεσαιωνικο καστρο αλλα με συχρονες παροχες και ανεση. Ιδανικο για οποιον χρειαζεται ηρεμια και ιδιωτικοτητα.

Sigri is lovely, small, sleepy town of about 400 people at the western tip of the island. Lesvos Tower is about 1 km out of the town, easily accessible by a seaside road. The property has been built over 20 years by the amazing hosts Dimitris and Evangelina. They are lovely, lovely people. When we arrived the first thing Evangelina said was, “Coffee?”. 🥰 And we got coffee with her marvellous apricot desert. They live on the property when in season. Going there is like visiting your lovely parents or grandparent. It is more of a home than a commercial property. And the premises are full of flowers and trees making it especially beautiful, given the otherwise barren land around Sigri. The buildings have been designed and built brick by brick by Dimitris and have a Byzantine architecture feel. He has even built a beautifully decorated chapel, which is a must see. There is also a very decent pool, great for kids. We stayed at the stand alone two room villa, which offered comfort and privacy. At night we were able to watch the Milky Way and the stars (the new port of Sigri does create a bit of light pollution, but it was less so at Lesvos Tower). Everytging was clean, the hospitality was above and beyond anything I have ever seen. It is also a perfect location for longer stays and for families. But my main comments is, one should go and stay Lesvos Tower just to meet the hosts, Dimitris and Evangelina…

Friendly and helpful host. Quiet surroundings.

There's no bakery in Sigri and the local supermarket was quite often closed.

Nice pool. Room in 3 levels was bad as my husband walks badly

No cleaning between the 2 days stay. Loo bin didnot get emptiex

The location is beautiful and authentic. the hosts were lovely and welcoming. The view is astonishing and location is perfect: isolated but still close enough (walking distance) to the Sigri village and local beaches

We spent 10 days at Lesvos Tower House and had a fantastic time. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The garden and pool area were perfect for relaxation. The family-run place is wonderful, with owners who are friendly, helpful, and went out of their way for us. The village is charming, with an authentic feel, great local restaurants, and friendly people. Our holiday was great, thanks in large part to Lesvos Tower House
