Canmin Guest House

I had a pleasant stay here. The room was clean and comfortable nothing fancy, but perfectly okay for a relaxing stay. The highlight was definitely the staff they were really nice, polite, and very helpful throughout. Overall, a good experience!

Tv didn't work

This was the cleanest accommodation I stayed at in Sri Lanka. I stayed for two nights in late April. The guesthouse is run by a very kind and friendly family, they were truly wonderful. The place was spotlessly clean, the air conditioning worked well, and the room was very comfortable. Since it’s located away from the city of Galle, it was extremely quiet, and I really enjoyed relaxing on the shared balcony. Breakfast was delicious local food, which they kindly brought to my room. I was able to eat as much as I wanted and felt completely satisfied. Thank you for the lovely stay!!

Very friendly host, building his guest facilities with his family. Beds are huge and comfortable, room has A/C, warm water, and nice table

I have a motorcycle so Great location for me , out the way and quiet . The hosts were amazing , nothing was too much trouble and helped me with motorbike problems . The breakfast and food is amazing , best curry ive eaten . The room was spacious and clean as was the whole building . Go to the top floor at sunrise or sunset which is tree level to see the parrots , eagles , storks and if lucky the monkeys in surrounding trees , and when we had an island power cut we got fire flys . I can’t recommend this Homestay enough .

A very nice homestay with helpful hosts. The space is very clean and there is a great rooftop where I completed some work with a beautiful view of nature. They are developing rooms on the floor which will be lucky with this view. Rooms are bright and spacious, comfy beds. A little way from centre but you have a turtle rescue centre nearby and restaurants to explore.

The guest house is in a pretty quiet area, so I had a great time relaxing and being at peace. The room was spacious, AC incorporated and a very comfortable bed. Canmin was very polite, as well as his son. Both made sure I felt welcomed in their house. The breakfast was delicious, and he considered my choices as well. There was no hot water, but it's a common thing around Sri Lanka, so it wasn't that much of a bother. All in all, I recommend this guest house if you are in need of a relaxing time.
