The host Mary is a very kind person and so as her family. I do hope that they take this as an improvement feedback. Mary and Cyndi, her daughter cook very well. Both Mary's son, Wesley and Alpha are very helpful whenever I seek for support.

The location might close to the airport but surely is 30 mins drive away to most of other Nairobi's attractions. In the meantime, there are only 1 decent QuickMart and Cafe Rhumba around the neighbourhood. I'd like to highlight that it is quite a safe area even for solo female. The mattress is bad for the back especially if for those who are staying long term. The only room that is decent is inside the house, which is a double bed with a bathroom. There were 3 cockroaches in the room through out 2 weeks of my stay. This is quite common in Nairobi if you are in a low middle class community. Luckily, Violet wasn't fear it.

The host was welcoming where she offered a free cup of coffee since I arrived when it was raining.The room was well organised,clean and had fresh air.

The bed was very comfortable. The whole place was very clean. It turned out to be quite near the airport. The first driver took a really roundabout route, but it was actually much simpler with the second driver. The WiFi worked very well.

There were no facilities as such. No kettle, nowhere to sit and smoke outside. There was a tv, but I didn't try it. No toilet seat

There was no water in the bathroom at all in the morning. I had to use my bottle of drinking water to wash my teeth and face. I smelled badly without taking a shower, and I had to go for a long plane journey. Was an awful experience.
