Lake View Terrace Apartment

The spacious and clean apartment with a comfortable bedroom, a fully-equipped kitchen and an air conditioned living room. The large shaded balcony with a view of the lake and the mountains in the distance. The excellent location near the center and a short walk from the lake. Our gracious hosts George and Helen who went out of their way to make us feel at home.

The property was easy to find. The access to the apartment was very easy and with good instructions from the host. The apartment had all the necessary equipment for an easy stay including iron and hairdryer as well as kitchenware and dishes.

Please note that the building has no elevator.

The apartment was clean, bathroom spacious, all necessary basic ammenities in place.

The apartment is not in a very pleasant area, no elevator, terrace is facing other buidings, very limited view to the lake (this was our biggest dissapointment! the photos on booking are rather confusing), no day curtains, so you can not keep the windows with the natural light during the day (other buildings are rather close, so other people see you through the windows), apartment overall rather basic.

Everything. It’s ideal place for having good time and rest - great location, clean and comfortable apartment, never had problem to find parking, silent and close to the lake!

The owners were there to greet us when we arrived, which was a very nice touch and they were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The owners speak excellent English as Helen is an English tutor in Kastoria. She gave us some great tips on where to eat locally which were tremendous experiences in 'En kairo' (both nights!). This establishment offers excellent food at reasonable prices and would recommend visiting this restaurant. The standard of the apartment is very high with the decor/fittings/kitchen/bathroom etc all high end and contemporary in style. It has all the utensils/equipment you require to dine in, although we only had breakfast/lunch at the apartment. The terrace and the views are something else, consistent with the photo's on the website. Overall, an excellent stay and Kastoria is a special place and the lake view apartments are exceptional.
