The room was superb. Spacious and airy with a large window. Everything was spotlessly clean. Plenty of charging outlets and good lighting. Friendly English speaking staff. Indoor AC restaurant, and a floor seating area, and outdoor area too. As far as I could see, this hotel was the most likeable choice for backpackers now when Hampi Bazaar and Hippie Island are closed, unless you want to stay all the way over on the other side of the river. There is an ATM on site and some souvenir shops as well and it's very close to Kamalapura bus station from where you can get a bus to Hospet and to Hampi. It's also very close to the southern part of the ruins. (Ps. there is one hangout restaurant still open in the former Hampi Bazaar's backpackers enclave. Nice spot for lunch)

The WIFI needs urgent improvement. In the evening when everybody is using it, it doesn't work. Also it frequently cuts off and doesn't reconnect automatically. The restaurant is crazy busy at lunchtime with tour groups, nowhere to hang out until the evening.

The food was amazing, the staff were very helpful and friendly, and the location was great.

The beds were a little worn. The rooms are basic. But that’s expected at the price.
