Corner studio apartment in Sheffield

Stayed for a week the apartment was wonderful very clean and lovely and warm upon arrival everything was perfect the host John was lovely and very helpful 🙂 I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a stay in Sheffield close to the town center. I will deffinatly be staying again with these apartments my preferred choice

I liked everything

Comfy sheets, location was good and good value for money.

Cozy and comfortable, everything you need for access to the city. Also great that it comes with secure parking

The apartment was stunning! Comfortable and perfect location

There were broken tiles in the bathroom so we had to take extra care.....but this did not effect our stay

Room was fantastic, very clean, nice, couple getaway or business trip kind of place.

Not much to do in the close proximity.

Towels had damp smell, bathroom needs some work.

The appartment was big enough and it looked exactly like in the photos. We liked that the landlord was super helpful and nice, when we mentioned the appartment lacked a cutting board, there appeared a stand with 4 of them next to our door, when we came back from our walkabouts! :) The bathroom was smaller but not tiny and everything worked just fine there. The living room/kitchen/bedroom had a huge window which we kept shaded by a big blind provided, because during our stay it was super hot for Sheffield and also in general it was very warm weather. The appartment is in a walking distance from centre, most of the time we didn't need any bus ticket for walking around the city, we only got a daily ticket when riding outside the centre. It was quiet for most of the nights and that one night when it wasn't, it was very well sorted out by the landlord, because nothing woke us up since then and he was super apologetic for the situation caused by one of the tenants. So in case you hear some noises, don't worry and just let him know.

As I said, it was hot during our stay. As Sheffield is a city in the north, most of places kinda don't know what to do about the heatwave. There is no air conditioning, just a ventilator in the room and also like air drying fan in the ceiling. Because you can't open the windows really wide, to do a big ventilation this way during the night also is not possible. But I have a big understanding because I don't remember it being such a hot weather ever in England. Just maybe as the world is changing, I would recommend the whole building owners to think about investing into air conditioning system, even though I don't know the construction is suitable for such a change. Or at least one more powerful fan. :)) Also a teeny tiny thing: the floor in the shower is sinking (I think it is not a feature) and the water doesn't entirely go away into the drain so water can stay on the bottom of the shower. But I didn't see any mold or anything. Everything was clean and tidy when we came and during our stay, too (we stayed 5 nights).
