Location for us was fantastic- close to restaurants and the train

Water in kitchen hardly flowed and poor lighting and ventilation in bathroom

The location was good for getting to the royal marsden hospital. The bus was cheap and took us most of the way there. In terms of other local shops, there was a Sainsbury's local a short walk from the flat, a bakery opposite which was nice to grab a quick breakfast from and a prezzo nearby along with other restaurants a short walk away. The train station is also very close but despite being so close, I did not find the noise of trains loud. The kitchen was fairly well equipped with a microwave, hob and oven along with most other cooking equipment, although there was no cheese grater. The bedrooms were comfortable and clean. One bedroom has a door, the other does not although it is tucked around a corner so there is some privacy. Both bedrooms were a bit small but this wasn't an issue for us. There was a good dining space and a sofa as well as a small desk area. The entrance felt pretty secure and was shared with only one other flat. The host was also helpful and easy to contact when needed.

The rooms were a bit chilly because of the single glazed windows but once we had the heaters on overnight it was warmer.

It's in a good location for access to bars, restaurants and the train station.

Access is not great with 2 flights of stairs and a vacuum cleaner ready to trip you up on the first landing. Being in the loft space there are a lot of corners to bump your head on. The ceiling in the bathroom is not high enough to accommodate the shower head so you are constantly bent over. The linnens in the property could have been fresher/cleaner. Although overall the room was indeed clean however. The checkin time was changed from 16:00 to 17:00 by the owner without notice night before our stay.
