My husband has MS so the interior layout was challenging. That is our fault and not the hosts. We didn’t research the property enough and it is not as accessible as we needed. Again our ignorance in asking the right questions. If you are able bodied the property is ideal
GBLocation was super being central to the village with the local shop almost next door. The bed was super comfortable and a great size. The layout of the forge worked well and there is plenty of space and areas to navigate. The shower had good pressure and the property was well equipped with the basics. The host was super helpful and communication was quick and always helpful
There is nothing to dislike about the property but there are aspects that are not modern and some of the decor is a bit tired.

It would have been easier if there was a small kitchen area with sink albeit that we could use the sink in the adjoining laundry.
DEWe specifically wanted to stay in Crondall for a few days. This is right in the heart of the village. Characterful, nothing fancy but gave us exactly what we needed. Good village shop seconds away. The excellent Plume of Feathers pub and restaurant a minute's walk away (which is handy as there's no kitchen in the Forge). Great host. Good dog walks close at hand.
A proper kitchen would have been convenient .... but then the lack of a kitchen is a good reason to go to the Plume!
GBConvenient location for our trip. Close to a lovely pub for dinner and an excellent village shop. The host was lovely , communicative and friendly.
Some of the furnishings are a little tired, such as a curtain rail falling down and no proper cooking facilities.
GBLovely cottage, we were very comfortable and had everything we needed. Loved the fireplace and the atmosphere it created. We didn’t use the outdoor sitting area as weather was quite cold but must be lovely to sit outside in summer. Crondall is such an interesting little village with lot of history and beautiful Main Street. Indeed the corner shop is handy, morning pastries were a treat. There’s a pub nearby with great food. The Winery and Cafe also worth a visit
