Appartamento Venere e Adone

This charming period apartment is incredibly spacious, very comfortable and perfectly located. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay of 3 nights. The apartment is located in an older building, which is part of its charm but also the reason for some quirks — a few non-operative electrical outlets. Guests should also be aware the apartment is on the top floor with no elevator — but the climb was only 49 steps and these two seniors found it entirely doable.

The stairway handrails on at least two landings didn’t run the full length of the flight of stairs, which could be a problem for those with reduced vision or mobility.

Great location and a huge apartment, really nice with a great terrace, a bit too big for us.

There were no lounge furniture on the terrace and the stairway up to the apartment was not very nice.

Isabel was so sweet, kind and responsive! She is a wonderful host! The location cannot be beat. It is a wonderful roomy apartment to spread out in and enjoy! We would recommend this apartment to anyone looking!

Nothing! Everything was wonderful!

The location is fantastic! A two minute walk to the main Piazza Corso Ovidio. There is a nice restaurant just outside the apartment. If you have a vehicle, there is paid underground parking close by. About a 5 min walk. Parking was 14.00 euros for the week. The apartment is very spacious and bright. It has many windows which allows a nice air flow through the apartment. We enjoyed the big balcony. All rooms are large including a large bathroom. Overall very comfortable.

The air conditioner was not working very well. The shower drain was clogged and so the shower would fill up with water fast and we would have to wait so it would not overflow. The kitchen could have had more cooking supplies such as salt and pepper, olive oil and vinegar. Just basics that I see at other apartments we have rented in the past.
