The Laurel Cottage

Convenient location. Lovely property. Ease of access and parking would recommend a stay at this property if your in that area.

Stay was excellent, and can't fault the property. 10 out of 10

The cottage had some character. I liked the small garden overlooking the countryside and the bathroom with a bath and a separate shower. The cottage was very warm with comfortable beds and sofas.

I would have liked some instructions on how to use the gas oven as I’m used to cooking only with electric.

Quiet location, great local pub restaurant, tasteful decor with that quaint country cottage feel with gorgeous wooden beams, yet still has a lovely modern kitchen with big hob, fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Lovely to find that the bathroom has both a bath and shower. Even supplied a hairdryer and some bubble bath.

Took a moment to locate house number 19 at the back door which is the main entrance as it was dark when i arrived, key lockbox is there but no house number. Parking at the back could be tricky to do on a night (reversal around a corner), so I just parked on the street outside without issue. Super washing machine with dryer provided but no powder, so take some if you plan to do your washing.

The Laurel Cottage was simply stunning, beds were so comfy and small attention to detail was lovely. A true home from home.

There wasn't anything negative to say

the cottage was absolutely stunning and everything you expect when you think of cottages. The decor and facilities were the icing on the cake. The views of the garden and the fields were breathtaking - especially when you come from a busy city.

Fantastic place to stay with outstanding value for money. Very comfortable and had most of what you need with loads of room. Nice big kitchen with comfy living room and 2 bedrooms. I will be going back again. The cookies and fudge were a nice touch!

The WIFI was very temperamental and the 4G signal isn't great. Could also do with a USB charge point somewhere. Other than that its hard to fault this place.
