Trio Villas Watamu

Truly appreciated the warm support from the host, manager, housekeeping and security team. The environment was serene, quiet, and very private, with the added bonus of a private pool. The location was decent and convenient enough. Overall, a wonderful and relaxing experience

It would be great to have an AC unit or large ceiling fans in the kitchen and living area for added comfort. Also, regular upkeep of the property, especially the small details, will help ensure it continues to feel well cared for and not neglected over time.

The main door weighs 100 kg and is difficult to open and close , also was hoping that the toilet had a hand-held bidet but unfortunately there was nothing

I loved everything about Trio Villa. The staff (Samwel, Vincent, and Mercy). First, Samwel, the villa manager, already reached out to me as soon as I had confirmed my booking on Booking.com. He confirmed my stay, and later shared a document with the correct directions to the place (Maps sometimes loses you), list of eateries, and fun things to do in Watamu before my travel. This was extremely helpful for a traveler coming from far, and he regularly checked up on me (virtually) if everything was well or if I needed anything. Vincent and Mercy were awesome too; they inquired if I needed anything anytime I came outside my villa's gate or outside the premises, and, importantly, didn't disturb me (this is a big deal for me). The Villa: Beautiful, fancy, private, and secure. The place is even more beautiful than the photos (which are already pretty awesome). Three villas separated by walls and each with a private swimming pool (which I utilized to the maximum including at night thanks to great lighting), white spaces, and greenery. The villa itself (let's say maybe I should just save up and retire there :): Spacious, ample natural light, really clean, spacious kitchen with modern appliances, and the stairs to the bedroom are so white they make you feel like you are going to heaven (the bedroom). Two bathrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs- really clean and well-lit too). For TV lovers, a 43" digital TV already connected to the internet, plus you can connect an HDMI or USB if you already have your own content you want to watch on the big screen. Pleasant Surprise: Fresh water. All the faucets run forceful jets of fresh water (a pleasant surprise given that most of the facilities in the Kenyan Coast have salty water) throughout, except for one day (and it was a Watamu/ Kilifi issue not only the villa) and even then the faucets promptly run the salty water (good enough for cleaning, shower, etc.).

Over the weekend, one of the other villa had some guests who played music a little too loud into the night, past 1. However, during the weekdays, as a lover of quiet environs, I enjoyed the absolute serenity.

Great concept. Lots of privacy !!!

It was as described and had everything you could need during the stay, staff was around and quick to help.
