Un endroit exceptionnel, tant par l'histoire qui l'anime que par la qualité des prestations du château. Tout était parfait, de l'accueil de notre hôte, incroyablement bienveillant au petit déjeuner en passant par notre chambre très confortable. Quitter ce lieu d’exception n’a pas été chose aisée. Le charme intemporel du château, allié à la qualité des échanges et de l'accueil attentionné, a rendu notre séjour particulièrement mémorable.

Nous avons tout apprécié. Notre seul regret est de ne pas être restés plus longtemps pour profiter pleinement de ce lieu exceptionnel et de l'accueil chaleureux.

Very nice experience to stay in such an unusual, tranquil and historical place. The fact that you're staying in the home of the owners, with access to parts of their private living space also makes the whole experience more personal and memorable. The hosts are really likeable and have interesting stories to tell.

No criticism and just for clarity for anyone considering staying here - this is an actual old castle with old furniture etc so the odd piece of furniture may be a bit worn and you may find the odd piece of cob web here and there. Regardless, our room was very clean and very comfortable.

Das ganze Schloss ist einzigartig. Die Zimmer sind alle mit antiken Möbeln ausgestattet (ausser das Bett, welches modern und bequem ist). Man wohnt in einem echten Museum, aber mit vielen Annehmlichkeiten wie ein geheizter Swimming Pool und WLAN (aber nicht in jedem Winkel des Schlosses). Das Frühstück am langen Tisch mit regionalen Produkten bleibt unvergesslich. Der Blick vom Schloss über die Landschaft mit Sonnenuntergang ist einfach sensationell!

Das Angebot an Möglichkeiten, in der Nähe zu Essen, ist etwas begrenzt, da das Schloss kein Restaurant besitzt.
