Regina Guest House

Kind and Polite staff and owners. Very helpful. Offered their fruits, coconut water and even other information abt places around, rental bike. Facilities are worth what you pay for. Not exactly luxury, but minimal as per expectation. Good for solo Traveller. It's a guest house, not a hotel. Family lives in the same premises in the back. Big balcony. Good internet. Could work remotely comfortably.

Facilities are a bit old. Kitchen would be really look good if regularly cleaned for unused utensils and appliances. Ofcourse used appliances are to be cleaned by guests themselves and were clean. Think, the premise was luxurious before, and hosted souvenir shop before, but now only managed to few rooms of guest house. Very Big premise, Bungalow and now maybe only some of it is used. So not maintained enough. Right next to road. So expect vehicle noise. Maybe the bathroom sliding door and standing fan needs a bit of repair.

It was right next to a smart mart so good for grabbing a coke for breakfast.

we didn't have sheets changed. Would have been nice to have some soaps.

Regina guesthouse is an excellent, good value quality place to stay. The room was clean and in good condition with ensuite. The bed is very comfortable and there is a bedside lamp. There is a shared kitchen and free drinking water.

It’s a bit far from the centre of town but you can easily get a grab taxi or even walk. The room has holes at the top above the windows for ventilation but this could let in noise as well, but luckily the place was quiet anyway.

Everyone there was super lovely, the price is very good and amazing veiw of the volcano on clear days.
