"A wonderful experience of Burano"

Ornella the owner was wonderfully welcoming, helpful and generous. The house has a piano which was wonderful for us, and feels very much like living in someone’s home, it has huge character.

My second extended visit for a whole week in Burano and it was difficult to leave. Returning to the Casa degli Artisti this October for my third visit in two years. Ornella, the hostess, is wonderful and very caring.

"Best place to enjoy Venice and the Lagoon islands"

This was our second stay at Casa degli Artisti. Ornella is a caring and attentive host, with endless knowledge of the Lagoon islands and ready to share useless tips. The house is large and right at the vaporetto pier and <100 m away from the Coop supermarket. In spite of its excellent position, it is quiet and comfortable. Definitely worth a third trip. The flocks of flamingos were a very pleasant surprise: bring binoculars.

For a family holiday the upstairs bathroom offers very welcome comfort. In Burano (and in Venice in general) you need to be aware of tourists' movement patterns, especially if you try to reach Burano in the early afternoon, or Venice after 15:00. Better catch the line 14 from S. zaccaria.
