Off Grid Explorers - 4x4 Campers!

The opportunity to be so free and out in the wild, to able to drive where we wanted and to stop where we wanted to sleep wherever almost. Great facilities for what it is and super easy to use it all. The cost factor is excellent also really good value. In terms of exploring we loved the Great Lake of Tay Tay which was a recommendation from the owners, along with many others from them. It's such a great place to adventure whilst also never being too far from a town somewhere if we needed supplies or a break from cooking in the wild.

I'm quite big so naturally space is often an issue but to be honest even that was fine, the sleeping space was longer than my bed at home.

We hired it one night only, so we went straight for Amihan cafe where we camped right on the edge of the beach, but could still eat in Amihan for dinner and breakfast following morning before exploring the surrounding beaches! Highly recommended!

The fact that we didn't book for longer! This was probably one of our favourite experiences of our entire trip, such a cool concept and you really get a sense of adventure.

Both myself and my partner booked the Campervan for 2 nights. Axel (the host) had great communication from the start and even organized a Tuk Tuk to pick us up and drop us off at the location. We were shown how the campervan set up worked and there was a file with all the required information, including different locations of where to set up camp. My partner who isn't a keen camper, really enjoyed the experience and felt safe camping on El Nido. When a piece of equipment was missing for the set up of the tent. Axel drove about an hour to come and meet us (great guy). Would definitely recommend and if I am in El Nido in future would be more than happy to book again. Beats being stuck in El Nido town and allows the freedom and opportunity to explore El Nido Island. Cheers again 👍

we loved the idea of knowing new places less crowded in El Nido when we saw it on booking, but we were looking for a less 'off grid' experience! toilet facilities for example! the host recommended an amazing place called amihan kite cafe, where we camped on the beach front just far enough from the cafe to still have some privacy, but then enjoyed breakfast lunch and dinner (and bathrooms 😂) at the cafe. cold beers at sunset too! the truck was fully equipped to cook, but we opted for the less hassle option and loved every second! highly recommended for the adventurous as well as those who prefer the little comforts like us!

Anything, everything was good!

The adventure starts with a great introduction of Amelia, who explained us the campervan and the recommended stops resp. places you can overnight. It's easy to set up and they provide all you need, comfy bed and pillows, kitchen utensiles, powerbank, torches, etc. We overnight straight on the beach, no other tourists - off the beaten track. I live several years and did not even know theses places myself. Don't hesitate to book if you like to have an adventure

We absolutely loved everything about this! Such a clever idea and so much thought was put into it. We were given a location of a derelict beach 40min drive away and set up the truck there. Both of us were automatically insured to drive the van and were left to our own devices to explore El Nido. Shower, stove, fold out bed on top of the roof, camping chairs, cooking appliances/sauces/spices provided. One night was perfect to get away from the busy hotels and atmosphere of El nido. The host was brilliant and checked up on us making sure we were all sorted.. also let us drop the van at the ferry port to make it less stressful for the onward journey. Definitely a highlight of our holiday in the Philippines.
