The host was amazing. He drove us everywhere, I couldn’t recommend more !

Very nice and helpful host. Perfect localization and delicious breakfast in clean and comfortable house. Owner on a first day took us from a bus station by his tuktuk and invited with papaya juice. He also arranged our trip to Pidurangala Rock and Minneriya National Park for a very reasonable price. At the end on the last day, he took us with his family to a local club cricket game and a post-game festival. It was wonderful time!

Triangle is excellent value for money. Very welcoming hosts and excellent breakfast. I would stay there again if I am in the area.

They were adding on to the property and construction work took place for the duration of my stay. This not only meant it was noisy but I couldn’t have my curtains open as there were people coming and going outside my room. No discount for disturbance was offered.

Clean room and bathroom, and very comfortable bed. The breakfast was really good! Lots of fruit and traditional Sri Lankan breakfast too.

Nihal, the owner, was exceptionally nice. He picked me up from the busstand and dropped me off there after my stay. He organised everything for me, one day he showed me around Sigiriya in his Tuktuk, another day he arranged a safari to Minneriya national park at a good price. He always offered me tea or coffee, biscuits, vegetable soup, bananas, etc. That was so lovely. When I asked for a Sri Lanka breakfast, I got the most fantastic breakfast the next day. He was really concerned about my well-being and I felt like a family member. The location is close to the city centre where you find restaurants, shops, etc. It was very quiet at night and you can sleep well.

Nihal is adding an annexe to his house, so during the day there can be noise. I wasn't bothered by it as I was out most of the time. Nihal kept asking if I felt disturbed by it.

The family was very nice but wife doesn't talk in English. There was fridge in the room and small tables.

Maybe it wasn't the host's fault, but almost most of the time the room smelled of smoke coming from burning garbage in the area. sensitive people should know about this. Additionally, try to give the deducted amount for the accommodation, because you are unlikely to receive the rest. It wasn't a big amount in our case, but in another case it may make a difference.

We had a great stay at triangle! The hosts were super kind and took us around for surrounding sightseeings for a whole day. The food was absolutely delicious! The A/C stopped working and they called in an electrician to fix it instantly.

A lot of mosquitoes, so bring a repellent!
