The place exceeded my expectations

The road was not pleasant.

See advice about juice above. Location was gorgeous with live security 24/7. Also, the manager was kind enough to check on us via text as we drove back from dinner to the resort while a violent lightening storm was threatening wifi connections.

Nothing really. Only advice is to let the guests know the juice is fresh. We had fresh guava juice for breakfast and didn't know it until the staff asked why weren't we drinking it. We had assumed the juice at the table was just regular juice. It was delicious.

The staff was very friendly, Peter is always checking in during meals and whenever you're visible on the premises. The room service ladies ensured the room was cleaned whenever we requested it. The room itself was exceptional, spacious and very comfortable. Halali is a wonderful place to relax and spend time away from city noise, with the pleasure of seeing wildlife, it's beautiful.

The room had an unpleasant smell when the aircon was switched on for too long, but after turning it off everything was good. The smell did not hinder my stay in any way
