Winter visit and the property was cold on arrival. The heating controls were not obvious as they are behind a flush white panel, once found they are straightforward.
GBWe have stayed at the Studio many times. It's a great location for us and is 'home from home'. It's cosy, clean, comfortable and has everything you need for short stays, except a hairdryer. The owners are lovely people. Thankyou for having us.
The door from the main room to the bathroom area squeaks and sticks so it makes a noise every time you use it. This is a little awkward during the night as you wake up others.
GBA lovely little studio type room annexed from the main house. It’s in a quiet estate in the Newcastle suburbs. It was well equipped with everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable. Airport was a 5 minute drive away and the Metrocentre was a 10 minute drive away. Plenty of shops, takeaways and a few bars all within a couple of minutes drive of the room. Would stay again happily.
The drive is not the best. My car bumper scraped off the road coming down it both forwards & reversing. No damage was done but beware. Plenty street parking is available

GBA perfect cosy, clean, quiet, compact studio with all you need for a comfortable stay. Welcoming hosts. Bed was comfortable. Washing machine available. Nice shower. Fluffy towels. Nice bedding. Wardrobe space. A supply of tea, coffee, sugar and milks. TV and wifi available. Fresh flowers were a nice touch. Thanks for the bottled water too. Have already stayed again and have booked in July and September for short stays. Good value for money.
