The Peak Residence

- a great location just a few steps from the famous Adam's peak - a welcoming staff - a little shops downstairs to buy necessities - a late check-out at 11 am (so you are able to climb the mountain and get back in no rush) - a VERY BIG breakfast, or rather brunch, with all kinds of Sri Lankan specialties such as hoppers, dhal, curry and roti cooked by the lovely manager of the place :)

- a room is very basic and there may be noise heard from the outside but it is ok for a one-night stay : )

The property was at the perfect location for starting Adam’s Peak and the staff were very friendly. The rooms we stayed in was good too.

The location is great, you are on the main road really close to the bus station and the main path to climb Adam’s peak The staff is amazing, are very friendly and helpful for whatever thing you would need. On top of the breakfast you can also eat there for lunch or dinner since the owner has a shop and restaurant below the hotel. Breakfast was big and good and you could have it when you come back from Adam’s peak hike The room is ok and has everything you need. It is a very good value for money, don’t expect too much but if you are not too complicated then you will be fine with it for the time you would stay

Everything was perfect. The rooms are perfectly clean, food was absolutely amazing, the owners/ staff were all so kind and attentive to any questions I had. I had a great stay at the peak residence, everyone was very kind and helpful, it is a great location and perfect as it is a 24/7 restaurant the sweet and savoury pastries are delicious and perfect snack for the hike. Everything was just amazing! The next time I come to Sri Lanka this will be one of my first places to visit again😊 thank you 😊🙏

Really good location for the Adam’s peak. Nice stuff, really big breakfast.

Not really warm water and noise in the evening from the market stands in front of the accommodation. But in general ok for the money and one night stand.

The staff was really warm. And the breakfast: it was awesome! I never eat that good at Sri Lanka at breakfast

Great location for climbing Adam’s peak and delicious and plentiful food when you return hungry! A lovely balcony where you can have breakfast and comfortable communal seating for guests upstairs.

There was construction inside the hotel next to my room and the noise from that was unpleasant. The space was very clean but I’m sensitive to scents and the air fresher smell was strong.

The Peak Residence was exactly what I needed for a nightover in Nallathannyia. The room is simple, clean & tidy. The bed very comfortable & the water warm. The rooms are situated above a Kiosk / Restaurant. (Open 24/7 during season) The owner is a very helpful, warm hearted lady, who will help you with everything if needed, and she serves the best curry I've eaten in Sri Lanka so far.
