"Cute and cozy for a short get away"

The bath and sauna make a lovely addition to the cottage. Also a great location for good dog walks. Hosts are lovely

"Lovely little place."

The location was great, the house had everything that you needed. The bath was amazing and (although we didn't use it) the sauna looked great too. Nice little touches like coffee/tea and biscuits left. Shampoo and body wash in the shower. The shower was great.

There was a small area to sit outside but it wasn't private and not large enough for the dog to run around. We needed a table to play games on.

Nice property adequately fitted out with sauna a nice boost. Suntrap garden

Garden not dog friendly as it is small and concrete Even my dog didn’t fancy a pee there The walk on the doorstep to the old line works is designated an adder friendly area, not great for a cocker spaniel !

"Relaxing break"

We had absolutely no complaints at all with the property or hosts

Our only complaint was with the area rather than the accommodation, although Stanhope itself is lovely, trying to eat out is virtually impossible, most of the pubs in and around Stanhope don't serve food.
