Sweet family home with upstairs converted to little bedrooms. I second everything the other reviews say - sweet family, lovely kids that will get you to play with them, clean and the vegetarian family dinner was delicious

They charged 150k per person for dinner. That felt like a ripoff so it dampened the whole experience quite a bit :/

Super friendly family! The guy will go extra miles just so you get what you want - run to store (literally) for beers, bring a new fan (ventilator) if you really need one. There is no aircon but it would be ridiculous to expect for this kind of money. Very cute kids that will make your day!

A beautiful peaceful place. Such a lovely couple running this place with 2 very cute interactive children. The facilities were very clean. We arrived starving after cycling the Ha Giang and they checked us in a little early and whipped up a hearty noodle soup for us. We joined them in their family dinner which was amazing and vegetarian. They also made us a good breakfast very early to accommodate us wanting to leave early. It is a typical local building which means the rooms walls don’t meet the ceiling but they had a very good mosquito net so this didn’t matter. The shared bathroom is down the stairs but is well lit at night so this didn’t matter. It is a little out of the town but there is a well stocked convenience store 100m away

This really felt like an authentic homestay with a family of 4 in a beautiful rural area. The hosts were very welcoming and we communicated mainly through Google translate. The meal was the best we had whilst cycling the Ha Giang loop, all locally grown and delicious! The two children were a lot of fun to play with and the hosts even accommodated for our early start and made us breakfast before we left!

Really enjoyed our night here, rooms are simple, but super comfortable. The family who runs the place is very kind and friendly, they prepared dinner for us and the other guests, which was simply delicious!

Lovely couple run this place. They don’t speak English but with Google Translate it’s not a problem. They have a couple of cute kids running around who are sweet. The beds are fine, good covers for when it is cold. The building is made from wood which you can smell when you’re in the room, very nice. It is a Homestay so the walls don’t go right to the roof so noise could be an issue but wasn’t during my stay. The Homestay in this area are part of an initiative for employment and development in this local group and is fantastic.

The stairs are quite steep so care needs to be taken when climbing up to the second level but that’s the design of the traditional houses.

Fantastic home built in traditional style. The host family were lovely and cooked us a delicious meal which we shared with them. They also served pancakes with fruit and coffee for breakfast. They spoke limited English but we made it work with Google translate to learn about their family and lifestyle. Room was simple but clean.

There was only shared bathroom facilities. The open style roof provided no noise buffer from dogs and chickens.
