We pretty much had the pool to ourselves, and had a beautiful weekend here. The staff were so kind, bashful about not knowing English (but I'd argue it's not necessary with the ease of Google translate), and super smiley. We felt welcomed here.

The only downside was that I got slapped on the arm by a local boy en route to town. Not sure why. I'd recommend borrowing their bikes rather than walking!

"Great staff in the countryside"

10.0

I loved the cleanliness of the place, the pool was perfect for a warm day. The accomomodation was located a bit in the outskirts but dont let that deter you, its easy to borrow a motorbike or get a Grab to wherever you want to go! Free bicycle borrow and affordable motor bike hire. The staff was so lovely and they really looked after us super well. It felt very genuine.

The only thing that could have made it a bit more easy is if they would take card. It was a bit of a ride to the closest ATM and that one was closed so i had to go into town to get the money. It wasnt a big deal its just something to be mindful of.

"Exceptional"

10.0

We initially only booked because of the homestay’s great location near Bai Dinh complex. What we got was an incredible family owned Homestay. It was a unique experience to stay with such a kind family who offered wonderfully clean and comfortable accommodation and lovely home cooked meals. Whilst the owners couldn’t speak much English we were able to easily communicate through Google Translate and they were happy to do anything for us and organise transfers to Hanoi. If you are looking for peaceful and homely accomodation near Trang An/Bai Dinh then we highly recommend Pham Gia Eco

"Lovely setting near Bai.Dinh pagoda"

9.0

Lovely place, a short bike ride from.Bai Dinh Pagoda complex. You can see it across the lake, and especially nice lit up.at night. The owner is super friendly and helpful and grounds are lovely. Location is peaceful and quiet, but also not walking g distance.to any amenities. Food is available and is tasty and generous portions. It's the lovely lovely setting and friendly owner that make this a winner.

As is normal in viet Nam any place that isn't a downtown area of a big city, you will hear roosters crowing in the early morning.
