Le Sancta homestay

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this homestay. The environment is peaceful, surrounded by breathtaking mountain views, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The property was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable for both families and professionals looking for a refreshing getaway. A special mention to the owner, Mr.Ajosh Fransis who is not only a professional hotelier and talented chef, but also an incredibly humble and welcoming host. His hospitality was truly outstanding and made us feel completely at home throughout our stay. The food he prepared was exceptional — delicious, fresh, and made with great care. Overall, this place offers the perfect combination of comfort, hospitality, scenic beauty, and amazing food. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable vacation experience. Looking forward to visiting again!

Mr Ajosh, of La Sancta homestay in Marayoor is the perfect host a guest can hope for in a homestay. Right from welcoming us and making us comfortable from the moment we entered the property to providing us all the amenities as was promised. He even accompanied to a little walk upto a view point where ancient burial site dating back nearly 1200 years are found. He even provided us a jeep with a good experienced driver for our sight seeing around Kanthaloor and Marayoor. The other highlight of the stay had been the homely food and snacks. Breakfast was simply marvellous and the coffee and snacks along with the refreshment drinks kept us wanting for more. The view of the mountains from our balcony is a sight to behold. Purely heavenly.

Location very beautiful

Le sancta was a truly perfect accomadation! Our room was spacious with a big comfortable bed and very clean. It had a balcony with a stunning view of the mountains too. It's very peaceful and we liked that it wasn't right in a town. Ajosh was a great host, always doing the most to make us as comfortable and happy as possible. He helped us with excursions to chinnar wildlife sanctuary, would always reply fast to any messages and would book after is with welcome drinks and snacks too. A very kind and hardworking man and anyone would be very lucky to stay at his property!

Nothing it was perfect

An immaculate and comfortable homestay with exceptional food. Ajosh is an excellent host who is very friendly, thoughtful and always on hand to help, without being intrusive. The food is outstanding and some of the best I have had in Kerala. The rooms are very high spec for a homestay, spotlessly clean and the view from the balcony is spectacular.

An amazing stay The owner truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was both comfortable and memorable. We were a group of four from different nationalities and cultural backgrounds, yet every one of us felt genuinely welcomed and completely satisfied with the warm hospitality. We were greeted with a delicious cup of spice tea as a welcome drink, which instantly made us feel at home — it was so good that we happily asked for refills! The food throughout our stay was exceptional. Considering that the host, Ajosh, is a chef himself, it’s no surprise that every meal was beautifully prepared and carried a wonderful homemade touch. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Although we experienced a minor issue with the water heating initially, Ajosh resolved it promptly and efficiently. What truly stood out was his dedication during the national strike in India, when most commercial shops and services were closed. Despite the challenges, Ajosh went out of his way to ensure all our needs were taken care of, making sure our stay remained smooth and enjoyable. And of course, we can’t forget the lovely guard dog! He was well-trained, friendly, and a joy to spend time with. Overall, this homestay is absolutely worth recommending. We would gladly return in the future — especially for a longer stay and to explore the hikes to Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary.

Excellent stay in a very comfortable and spotlessly clean room which was very high spec for a homestay. The area is lovely and green and easy walkable distance to the Dolmens viewpoint. Ajosh, the host, is extremely attentive and makes a huge effort to make sure his guests have everything they need. His help was invaluable getting access to Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary with great birding guides in the early morning. He also provides an impressive and tasty spread for breakfast!

Everything was lovely.

This place is far above all what we have seen before. The rooms are fantastic, so does the view from our terrace. The food is the finest indian food we came accross, We felt exceptionally welcomed.
