the common area was the main gateway to the treehouses and the perfect space to arrive (we were greated with a complimentary coffee/tea), as you instantly got to meet the staff as well as other travelers. The vibe was wholesome and cozy and made our stay special. It was also the place were we'd get together with the other guests for the included breakfast, as well as for dinner (around 8:30pm). the hosts were also really kind and helpful and made us feel more like family than guests. We can whole heartedly recommend the place and will be back if possible! (They are also building a pool now :) )

There were a lot of activities one could join like jungle hikes, lake swimming or sunset tours. If you had an idea to do something the host was always ready to help organise it. He also helped me with my travel plans and dropped me off at thebus station. I will miss this place, the jungle vibe and the people I met during my stay.

Coupure d’électricité, difficulté pour avoir de la wifi. Les chambres ne sont pas propres. C’est très rudimentaire mais pour le prix ont ne peu pas demander trop. Pour les personnes qui ont peur des bestioles, à éviter : fourmis et grenouilles dans la salle de bains. Il y’a une moustiquaire à disposition pour le lit mais avec des trous … cela n’a donc pas d’avantage … prévoir de l’anti moustique. Je pense que ce logement est top pour des jeunes avec petit budget.

I had a very pleasant short stay here. I stayed in a female dorm room, it was comfy and so clean. The property is beautiful and stuff makes you feel welcomed. I would recommend renting a bicycle and exploring the area, there is so much to see! Thank you for a great experience, definitely want to visit again!

Treehouses erg leuk, ook wel klein beetje primitief en je moet niet al te bang zijn voor insecten. Prima ontbijt met toast, ei en fruit. Maar echt een heel fijn verblijf gehad en heb al snel besloten om nog een nacht langer te blijven. Heel sociaal hostel met gezamelijk diner waar bijna alle gasten wel aan meedoen, dus mensen ontmoeten is super makkelijk hier. En ben met een aantal van hen nog een groot deel van mijn reis verder samen geweest, en ook wat anderen die ik af en toe op de reis weer ben tegengekomen. Ze organiseren vanuit het hostel diverse excursies (sunrise tour/vervoer naar Piduralanga rock of Lions rock, sunset tour, Dambulla-tour, halve dag safari naar Minneriya). Heel leuk

Matrassen zijn wel aan vervanging toe, ietsje doorgezakt, niet meest comfortabel. Ze zijn niet heel transparant over de prijzen van de excursies en maaltijden/drinken daar. Was voor veel mensen een beetje een verrassing hoe duur het verblijf daardoor uiteindelijk was. Het viel mij wel mee, maar iets meer transparantie zou wel netjes zijn. Ook met de sunrise tour is het soms de vraag of de hosteleigenaren optijd hun bed uit komen.. De tijd van de avondmaaltijd is meestal een half uur later dan ze vooraf aankondigen, maar was voor mij niet hinderlijk. Al met al toch echt een leuke en bijzondere ervaring om daar te verblijven.

I love everything in this hostel, the place is in the middle of nature, close to different tourism places. The guys of the staff are so nice and friendly, love them and place. Good food, good service, good vibe. I totally recommend it!

Lovely host, beautiful surroundings! I even extended my stay cause it was just so nice! Delicious dinner together with the other guests gave a little community feeling which I found particularly nice while traveling alone :) Thank you! Until next time:)
