Everything ! The apartment was so lovely and well decorated, with so many details and attention: it felt like home instantly . The beds were so comfy and soft. The garden so cute and well maintained . Indeed no pictures do justice to this location. Also the hosts were very helpful and nice. And in top of that we had the chance to pet a very fluffy cat. I was so sad that I booked only a night . I could have a stay there an entire week!

Die Wohnung ist mit Liebe zum Detail und sehr persönlich eingerichtet. Die Küche ist wunderbar ausgestattet, sogar mit scharfen Küchenmessern und einem großen Gewürzset, sodass man auch gut kochen kann. Fürs Frühstück stellt die Gastgeberin für wenige Pfund frisch gelegte Eier von den freilaufenden Hühnern ums Schlößchen bereit. Das süße Schlößchen liegt sehr schön im Grünen neben einem wunderbaren Garten, der wie eine kleine Oase auch zum Verweilen einlädt. Früh morgens kann man auf der Schaafsweide nabenan Hirsche beobachten. Die Gastgeberin hat uns viele Tipps bezüglich Restaurants, lokalen Geschäften und idyllischen Wanderrouten gegeben. Sie ist sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend und ist auf unsere Bedürfnisse eingegangen. Als Begrüßungspaket hat die Gastgeberin uns selbstgebackenen Kuchen, süße Teilchen und eine Obstschale vorbereitet. Ihre Gastfreundschaft ist sehr liebenswürdig.

Alles ist wunderbar.

"A wonderful stay in the garden of the Highlands!"

We stayed in early May, when the gardens were in full bloom and full of colour. Our kids loved the friendly cat that prowled the gardens outside. The hosts provided a lovely welcome pack for us as well. Handily placed for the foot ferry to Lismore, and a short walk to Castle Stalker. Can't wait to come back and explore some more.
