Garfield Historic Chateau in Downtown Phoenix

This was one of the best rentals I’ve ever stayed in! The home is beautiful, cozy, and perfectly located for easy access to everything downtown. It’s stocked with everything a guest could possibly need—they’ve truly thought of everything. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating; when I extended my stay, she even brought extra towels and offered anything else I might need. I would absolutely stay here again!

Very comfortable and clean. Enjoyed that it was in walking distance of a lot of other places. Mirléne was very kind as well.

There was not a futon as listed, but overall we were very satisfied as it didn’t take away from the entire stay. The toilet kept running and seems to have an issue with the seal to allow water not to escape from the back of the toilet. (More of an fyi, but not a “dislike” about the property).

I loved the house and the location was great for us. Mirlene was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay! Loved the patio area, and the front porch. Very inviting (except there was a lot of cat hair on the two big chair cushions, so please have your housekeeping check on that).

I might suggest providing more washcloths. There were 4 bath towels and only two washcloths. I would recommend having 4 bath towels, 4 face towels, 4 washcloths. Or an equal number of each, depending on how many people and the length of the stay. Also, I would provide new products- for example, a brand new tissue box, perhaps sample sizes of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc, that have not been previously opened, and are brand new. Also, the bathrobes were both small, so my husband was not able to use one. One last item- one of the plants you have in that lovely patio area is an oleander. Highly toxic- perhaps it would be good to replace that in case small children use your facility. Also- we never received instructions for the day of our arrival from booking.com so we had to contact our host to ask.

Very beautiful! My partner and I didn’t get out of the airport until almost midnight and it was so nice being only a couple minutes away. Had zero problems getting in and we both had a restful sleep before our roadtrip began, Thank you!

Immaculate and walking distance to downtown, we enjoyed a comfortable stay in this very nicely updated chateau in the midst of Phoenix. The host Josh and Mirlene were very helpful and responsive to our needs. This is a great value and location for what we needed. Love the touch of the fireplace in the living room. I felt taken care of in this very thoughtful space.

Not much to not like bc this is a great property to stay at.
