CALoved being up in the mountain having a bit of a view of the Douro Valley. A very unique place with lovely areas to look out and walk nearby.
It took my husband a bit off guard to travel on the roads beside the mountain as we live in flat terrain. I thought it was well worth it. A little slice of heaven.
ESThe only good thing was the views, which were definitely worth it.
The house itself is not bad, but the experience was very uncomfortable. In the kitchen, there was only one usable pan, the sponges were in terrible condition, and they barely provided supplies (one full roll of toilet paper and another half-used one for 4 people). There wasn’t even a trash bag, a mop, or a dustpan. The bathroom floor got flooded every time we used it, and we had no way to clean up the water. Parking is impossible – we could only leave the cars thanks to some neighbours who let us use their driveway. And to top it off, checkout was at 10:00, while we were still tidying up and loading the dishwasher, at 10:05 they were already coming in to change the sheets. Nothing relaxing or comfortable at all.

L'accès à la maison est très difficile. Manque d'objets de toilettes (savon...), nous avions 2 serviettes pour 4 personnes.
CAKeycode was lost among several Booking.com emails, fortunately property manager lives nearby and reachable by phone. View from the property was disappointing, after long winding drive up a mountain. Property across street at #2 was unbelievably beautiful and with incredible views. Very limited condiments were available. One dresser drawer was broken. Only one partial toilet paper roll. Parking available for small car, but very steep, narrow drive. Cute comfortable interior, with full kitchen and washer/dryer. A/C and wifi good.

USIt was clean, had all the essentials, check-in was easy, everyone was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The location is nice and quiet overlooking vineyards, just beautiful.
FRBonjour, Nous avons aimé l'emplacement du logement, avec vue sur la vallée du Douro. La vallée du Douro avec ses vignes en terrasses fabriquées en pierres, nous avons admiré le travail effectué durant des générations pour façonner le paysage et pouvoir en vivre. Magnifique !! Le petit village de Valença qui vit au rythme de la vigne et du vin. Tout était parfait pour un séjour reposant.
