A fantastic hotel right in the heart of Nizwa’s old town, offering a truly authentic local experience. Everything is within walking distance, from the fort and souq to great restaurants, and having on-site parking is a big plus, although Google Maps doesn’t show the correct way to access it. I first parked at the large, free Nizwa Souq parking, and after check-in, the receptionist kindly came with me and helped me navigate to the hotel parking, it was actually very easy. The atmosphere is charming and the place is quiet, so you can sleep well. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast has plenty of options to start your day, including traditional Omani coffee. One morning, an old lady was making traditional Omani bread on-site, which was a great experience. The girls working there were also very polite and helpful with everything I asked. A perfect choice if you want to fully experience the spirit of Nizwa.
