If you’re searching for true Sicilian authenticity in a quiet part of Agrigento, Il Poggio is the perfect place to stay. Eduardo is an amazing host—he fulfilled all of our wishes and even prepared a gluten-free breakfast for me without any issues. He’s always ready with great recommendations on where to eat, what to see, and what not to miss, and he genuinely cares about making your stay as smooth as possible. A special mention also goes to his wonderful companion, Tano, the dog, who added an extra layer of warmth to our experience. We also really enjoyed our conversations with Eduardo about everyday life in Sicily—it made the stay feel even more personal and authentic. One of the highlights was touring his garden, where we got to taste nespola, a fruit we had never tried before. The room itself is modern, clean, and comes with a private patio, which we really appreciated. The location is also great, with easy access to both the beach and nearby historical sites. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a genuine and welcoming Sicilian experience.

Emplacement parfait pour visiter la vallée des temples. Tres bon petit déjeuner.Très bien équipée propre sur un jardin agréable Et surtout eduardo et Tanio sont sont de super hôtes…

Super Lage für die Besichigung des Tal der Tempel ! Ruhige Lage,netter Gastgeber. Nur 5 Autominuten vom Tal der Tempel.

Besitzer hat Hund, der aber sehr lieb ist. Manchmal bellt er,hat uns aber nicht sehr gestört. Schlechte Zufahrt die letzten 200m.

Accueil très sympathique par le propriétaire, l'endroit est au calme et à proximité d'Agrigente. Il a été de très bons conseils pour nos visites et recommandations de restaurants.

Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, sehr netter Gastgeber und tolles abwechslungsreiches Frühstück. Top sauber!
