Historic Villa in Downtown Reykjavik

charming apartment in a very central location. large bathroom, cosy living/dining area. plenty of street parking.

Neat, clean and within walking distance of restaurants and church site. A good value.

Parking and a some street noise

A superbly located house, very close to the main centre and close to restaurants, bars, a supermarket and bakery. Fabulously decorated with a wonderful personal style. Very generously sized eat in kitchen and well equipped to cook for and seat up to ten people. Charmingly decorated living room. Two bathrooms (plus a downstairs toilet) with very powerful water pressure. The hosts left us fresh fruit and chocolate, and were quick to reply to any queries.

The downstairs bedrooms (one double and one twin) have no storage to unpack any clothes into. Also the double room doesn’t have a bedside table or lamp on one side. Also on a weekend the downstairs rooms are a bit noisy being so close to the street, however the hosts have thoughtfully left earplugs in all bedrooms (and it is very quiet on week nights) However all this is minor compared to how comfortable the communal living areas are, and how charmingly the house is decorated.

Absolutely beautiful, small studio apartment within the Villa. Beautifully designed, clean, comfortable, ideal location in downtown Reykjavík close to all the fun spots. Lots of extra touches, including a converter for my plug, which I was desperate for and had not been able to find it any of the local stores.

From the pictures, my daughter thought it was going to include the entire villa. It was a cozy apartment within the villa. This was an amazing space, in an ideal location. A fantastic value.

Elegant flat in a good location and the host left us fruit and chocolate and some magazines. Very nice bathroom.

Lack of sockets. Could not control heating so it was too hot at nights. Bedroom space was limited.

There is lots of love and thought in this very pretty and tidy place, you can see and feel it right away. The hosts are very responsive, very friendly, pro-active – absolutely excellent. The place is stylish yet warm, high quality everything.
