Absolutely fantastic veiws, hot tub was perfect on arrival, bed was comfortable! Do not the the lack of electric put you off we didn’t need it at all perfect night away

If they was one thing it was the crows.. however if you love the outdoors like we do it doesnt really bother you… earplugs are provided, not a criticism in the slightest just thats the only thing i could think of

Nothing to dislike

If anybody is contemplating staying at the Hinoki retreat…… do it, you will not be disappointed. Me and my partner stayed here for our 10 year anniversary and it was incredible. The host Laura communicated with us incredibly well and also put an anniversary banner up in our yurt upon arrival. This place is a little piece of heaven it truly is. Everything is provided for, for a relaxing and comfort stay. The yurt was amazing and so private and peaceful with incredible views. The hosts had thought of everything! I would highly recommend staying here and only wish we’d have had longer.

Very honest review‼️ 🛖 Eisa Yurt- 2 people, 2 nights This place is amazing/perfect for a weekend away🥰😍 The Yurt was equipped with really beneficial essentials such as: towels, sleep masks, cutlery, frying pans, cooking utensils, fire equipment, a kettle, tea/coffee, a tea towel, a cloth, washing up liquid, insect repellent, insect bite spray, a cool box, chairs, clothes hangers, a light and a very useful portable charger👌🏽 There is a very nice & equipped toilet and shower located a few meters away from the Yurt. The views from the Yurt are absolutely stunning and the hot tub is incredible🤩 - there is a small bug catching net and thermometer provided for when in the hot tub. The stars were very visible on the night time so we stargazed in the hot tub✨ There are also fairy lights located next to the hot tub which are beautiful! I would recommend: - Definitely bring footwear (sliders/flip flops) for travelling to and from the toilet and shower and when getting in and out of the hot tub. - For cold months, bring lots of warm clothes as it does get cold when you get out of the hot tub. - Bring cash/change for extra wood & fire materials - there is a wood store and tin to place the money a short walk from the Yurt. Travelling info🚗🚫🚶 Me and my partner both don’t drive, here is a break down of how we got to this location: - We got the train to York. - We walked to the York Station (RM) bus stop and boarded the 31X to Coxwold. - We walked around 15-20 minutes along a straight road, past a beautiful lake, past The Newburgh Priory and around the corner is the Hinoki Retreat. - One evening we walked around 15 minutes to The Fauconberg pub and had some food - the food here was lovely😍 - After leaving the Hinoki Retreat, we walked back to The Fauconberg pub and got a £20 taxi to Thirsk train station where we made our way home. - Even though this felt like a lengthy journey and lots of walking, it was worth it.

I didn’t like the withdrawals from leaving here😔
