Casa Kame

I had a wonderful stay at Casa Kame, the hotel is located in a very quiet area of the city, where you wake up to birds chirping, 15 minutes walking from the beach and 20 minutes from shops and restaurants. My partner and I had a few bad experiences with accommodations before arriving to Casa Kame so finding the small oasis, was so relieving. The staff was friendly, the rooms were immaculately clean and comfortable, and the overall experience was amazing. What truly impressed me, though, was their honesty and professionalism. After my stay, I realized I had accidentally left a pouch with my travel money in my room. I contacted them, and they confirmed that they had found it. They even took the time to do a video call with me to show that everything was still there. Though it took time to arrange and at points communication could have been quicker, they went out of their way to ensure I got my money back. Their commitment to customer service and integrity truly stands out. I highly recommend Casa Kame, not just for their hospitality, cleanliness but also for their trustworthiness. Thank you for your kindness and professionalism—I will definitely stay here again!

A little bit far from the beach, one probably needs a car or motorcycle to make life easier and get to the property.

The facilities and rooms themselves are very nice. There's unusually good water pressure for the area. The design is really nice. Everything is comfortable and well designed.

When I showed up I was able to get into the place with the key code they gave, however in my room there were a few problems. I had paid for a seaview, but this room was definitely not seaview. Also one of the blackout shades in the room was broken and resting in a corner of the room so privacy was an issue ( you could see into the room from the road) and also it was SO BRIGHT in the morning that I slept terribly the whole time. I wrote to the manager about this on whatsapp and no one responded until THE NEXT DAY at which point I was told this manger or whomever they are did not have any wifi the day before. OK. The problem is they must have known they had a guest checking in that day and if there had been any problem with the key code or getting into the room or wifi or anything I would have had NO WAY to reach the management, which is just irresponsible. Later there was a problem with the kitchen which I told them about and they never fixed. But mainly the problem is that I was told I could have a partial refund for paying for a seaview when I was given a room with no seaview. (see the picture of my supposed "sea view." who would pay extra for that?) But the refund never came. I was told to contact bookings.com who handles their bookings at the end of my stay, but lo and behold you cannot contact bookings.com about a stay that has already happened. So I have to take it up with my credit card company, which is just stupid and such a dumb problem they could have easily avoided.
