Wonderfully situated close to the beach and town center.

This property became home to us!!! We were here for a longer stay to work/learn surfing/explore. The host, Norma and Billy were just amazing, assisting and guiding us to make the best possible of our stay in J-Bay. The property has perfect view of the waves and access to the famous kitchen surf spot so we could just walk down when the conditions were good for our beginner level. The wifi was excellent and so were all the facilities. The area felt safe and it was just a few minutes walk to restaurants and shopping at the Surf Village. We mainly cooked at home and spent most time on the beach while taking surf lessons at Wavecrest surf school. We will definitely chose this property again for our next visit. /Robert and Anna

As with all property in South Africa, it feels both good and bad that there is a strong fence around the property. We are not used to this in Sweden but we could easily see the ocean through it.

Accommodation

They did not have coffee or sugar avail in satchets. We had to buy. They do not offer that. We had to ask for toilet paper. We were asked not to walk in area as it was not safe area. Site says private beach but not safe at all.

The location of appartment is perfect, right next to the main beach and only a few minutes of walking to the street with bars and shops. There is also a cute terrace roof from which there is a great view and you can see people surfing. The owners are super nice people, they made us feel like home and gave us some recommendation for sightseeing along our planned travel route. Very helpful. The appartment was clean and having a kitchen is definitely a plus when travelling. Would definitely recommend and also return! :)
