"A relaxing quiet break and beautiful grounds"

The house was so quiet and peaceful. We were transported back to the 18th century in this atmospheric place with a great sense of history. We had lovely breakfasts and Rolanda was a super host. She couldn’t have been more helpful!

There was nothing we didn’t like!

"A lovely house and a lovely host. I’d stay again 😁"

The location was great. The house was atmospheric and interesting. Rolanda was charming and very accommodating. And she makes the most gorgeous marmalade which was a lovely treat.

It was difficult to prepare a packed lunch as no access to kitchen and for washing salads etc. However Rolanda was lovely and I’m sure if I’d made a special request on booking she would have sorted something out for me. And she was kind enough to wash up my dinner plates
