Apartment City Center Gouda

Nicely remodeled kitchen and primary bedroom. Pull out bed in living room was great.

The room with a single bed was very sparse, not decorated or welcoming

Great location, but that also means you should expect a little noise at night from the restaurants nearby. Gouda is a pretty little town. The apartment was very clean and nicely furnished in a clean and modern style.

10 am check out is a bit early.

I booked this hotel about 1 hour before I arrived. The front door was locked and nobody let me in! I tried contacting them and booking.com but was not helped on time. I had to find a different place to stay! Later they said they first wanted more private information from me like why I was travelling to Gouda and why I booked the apartment and what I would be doing. In all my years on booking.com I haven't experienced this.

AMAZING location - absolutely can’t be beat. Right around the corner from the center. Very clean and tidy interior, kitchen has everything you need. Perfect for a stay with a group!

Nothing!

The location was fabulous! We were right in the middle of the old town, right next to the town square. The Saturday market and restaurants were a stone's throw away. The apartment looks newly renovated and was clean and neat. The tiny staircase leading to the 2 bedrooms and bathroom on the upper level was an interesting feature. The beds and pillow were nice and comfy.

The entrance was through the back alley.

Very spacious apartment with excellent amenities and facilities. Could easily sleep more people as the bedrooms are so spacious. It’s a duplex apartment which offers sufficient privacy for sleeping. Plenty of kitchen utensils are available to cater to most kinds of cooking. Dish washer aided greatly in quick and easy clean ups allowing us plenty of time to invest in exploring and shopping in this quaint slow paced haven of a town.

One tiny issue which we addressed with the host was how to deal with the recycling. We weren’t really sure what to do with our bins upon check out and spent quite a bit of time figuring things out. However the host called us later that day and reassured us she’s looking into it to see if better solutions are available. One more thing maybe - as we weren’t leaving until some time in the evening we needed somewhere to store our luggage. We figured something out in the end after recommendations from the tourist information centre, but it would be helpful if the apartment could help suggest some solutions as to where you can find left luggage services in the area.

Great location.

The lock box containing the keys is difficult to open with the door closed. It is mounted too close to the door. I had no way to contact the host directly, phone or email. Messages sent through Bookings were not responding.
