We liked absolutely everything

A wonderful little cottage with a real home-from-home feel. We stayed for a couple of nights while attending a wedding nearby. Firstly, the communication from Jackie was brilliant. She was always on hand to make sure we found the property easily and was there to greet us on arrival, which was a lovely touch. She even put the heating on beforehand so it was warm and cosy when we arrived. The cottage itself is immaculate, with everything we could possibly need for our stay. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. Our two boys were delighted with their little shared room downstairs, cleverly situated at the front of the cottage so they could settle in without distractions from the rest of the house. Unfortunately, we were out most of the time, so we didn’t get to enjoy this little gem as much as we would have liked. While we originally booked it simply as a base for the wedding, we’re now considering returning to Northern Ireland just to spend more time here. The garden is fantastic and has a real zen, meditative vibe – though sadly we didn’t get a chance to explore it properly. There are plenty of places to visit nearby, and Jackie has even put together a brilliant book in the cottage full of local highlights for sightseeing and eating out. Warm, friendly owners and a cottage with real soul. We won’t hesitate to return and are already looking forward to a longer stay. Thanks again Jackie!

We travelled to Ireland via ferry which arrived late in the evening, the host phoned us before we arrived, we then made arrangement to get into the property. This made the check in smooth and easy.

The cottage is beautifully designed and furnished, has a lovely quirky and warm feel and is full of charming details. It has all you need for a comfortable, relaxing, stay and feels like a home from home. We stayed two nights in cold wintry weather and found the place very warm and cosy. A special little gem!

Everything was spot on. Jackie was a fantastic host 👏 the cottage was unbelievable has everything you needed very homely so comfortable absolutely beautiful we will be back as good location to see our family. Thank you Jackie 😊
