Wonderful views of the Tagus river and monastries and churches. Spacious accommodation. Comfortable beds. Good lifts to the 8th floor. There is a Lidle supermarket close-by (about 100m). The area felt very safe. Location: Public transport (bus 735) is frequent and relatively easy to use once you get some advice on the bus/metro/train ticket system.

Would be nice to have some medium-firm pillows. The shower drain couldn't cope with full water pressure but was Ok at about half-pressure. The location is a 15 to 35 minute bus ride from the main square on the riverfront - we took that into account when booking. There are not many restaurants/cafes in the immediate area. We did try an Italian restaurant (which was good) just up the road but generally ate in the city, where we went each day, or cooked in the apartment.
