This place is exceptional. The decor is exceptional. The attention to detail is exceptional. Everything you could need is there. We really enjoyed our stay in The Library.

Loved the room, the level of comfort , the view was spectacular , the electric blanket was an added touch for the winter evenings, also has a gas heater on request , exactly like the pics shared is what we got . The comfort of the huge bed with Egyptian bedding was divine and extra luxurious experience , close to town and eateries. I truly recommend this place as there are other beautiful accomadations on the premises like The Batchelor , Salt and Pepper and The Queen , yes I had a bad experience but I am certain this can be managed better

When the host emails you the rules of the premises, emphasis is put on respecting other guest and neighbour's so noise level should be low especially from 22h00 to 07h00 , these hours should be changed, I respected this but sadly this was not respected back to me as a guest, Saturday morning at 08h30 , drilling to the room next door , Sunday 08h00, further maintenance continues, no prior advise given , no apology at all. , I state it's a leisure couples weekend away , why would I accept both weekend days out of a busy work week schedule, I booked away as we needed some rest not sounds of a construction site. Also to tip the weekend further off , Sunday morning I find a mug of milk in the microwave which we didnt leave or use indicating someone went into the room after we left, no theft of my belongings but the audacity is what left a sour taste to the weekend . Suggestion, communicate and set maintenance for week days when you less busy and ensure the safety and security of guest privacy is uplifted
