Villa Blue Lotus Katunayake- Colombo Airport

So peaceful and relaxing, exactly what we needed after a long flight. The staff were genuinely lovely and accommodating, and the room was really comfortable.

Sehr komfortabel und sauber. Konnten uns gut erholen nach der langen Reise. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr engagiert. Wunderschöne Aussicht auf den Palmengarten.

We booked this because it is very close to Colombo airport (15 mins drive) and they offered a drop service. However, it was much more than that. A beautiful home with a pool at the heart, surrounded by palm trees.

Great proximity to the airport, but tucked away and quiet. The staff are fantastic. The meal cooked for us by the resident chef was very affordable and excellent.

The neighbouring property was doing some kind of works/ construction at 11pm with a large truck or machine which kept us awake. Not sure if it’s a one off, or the neighbouring property takes deliveries ect at this time but the loud noises lasted around 30 minutes.

This is really a hidden gem. A well maintained location with a very helpful staff!!

Perfect place to relax near the airport, the staff were super attentive, room was clean and comfortable and we had a delicious dinner before our early departure the next morning!
