Sonoran Sea Resort

The hotel is located on Sandy Beach which is beautiful--golden, wide, long, and clean. The views of the beach and Sea of Cortez are great. The hotel pools are excellent. The restaurant food was fine, but there are many other excellent options nearby and in town. The mattress in our unit was very comfortable. WiFi is excellent. Maintenance of the resort grounds and facilities was good. The resort is only a few miles (under 10 minutes) from the central part of Puerto Penasco. The balcony is relatively large and very usable. Parking is secure and free. The host is very communicative and response to needs. There are two very good pickleball courts with portable nets on site. Puerto Penasco has delicious, fresh seafood!

To be clear, none of these issues are major, but here they are: 1. The listing says that the unit has cable and satellite channels. It does not. Netflix and Amazon Prime streaming is provided. Your U.S. streaming accounts will not work here (due to licensing issues). 2. The front desk charges a $10 service charge when checking in. 3. The electrical outlet by the dining table does not work. This would be the most convenient outlet, but there are others that work fine. We had a great time, and will be happy to stay here again.

I really liked the view, the comfort, the setup. All necessities were available. Very great location.
