Zoco Riad

The breakfast was fine. It was basic. Lots and lots of bread and freshly cooked egg. Some preserves and a little bit of fruit. The staff are lovely and try their best to help you out. They made a bad experience far less bad....

The rooms have no windows to the outside. They all face inwards and anyone walking up the stairs stares directly into your room and your bed.(including while you are sleeping) If you close the windows for privacy, it is stifling with only a noisy fan to move the air. The rooms are EXTREMELY claustrophobic when the windows are closed. The bathrooms are very small but the water is hot and the pressure is good. The beds are hard but OK. There is one room with an A/C and we were lucky enough to get moved into it. The floors in the bedrooms have not been washed in a very long time. There needs to be a way to find this place from the ferry. There are no instructions and the cabs just rip you off as they can not get anywhere near to it. It is best to walk but be prepared for a bit of a hunt.

La habitación, extremadamente pequeña y cerrada. El baño no valía nada. Muy, muy pequeño. Apenas se podía usar. La Wifi apenas tenía señal y los huéspedes que nos tocaron en las habitaciones contiguas, mal educados y muy ruidosos.

The service was outstanding from the minute we arrived at the hotel. Oussama is an excellent employee and host for Zoco Riad, staying up extra late for a late arrival, serving a delicious breakfast both in the hotel lobby and on the roof, and helping us with our bags to the taxi when we left. He was warm and welcoming for the entire stay.

We liked all of it to be honest. Nothing negative to say.

The location was great and within walking distance from all the attractions. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our requests and they made us feel welcome. Breakfast was always fresh and plentiful.

It can be noisy at night due to guests climbing up and down the stairs when returning to their rooms. There was no safe to keep the valuables.

Excellent, helpful and fiendly treatment from the staff. Very generous service and central location

Wir haben zufällig diesen kleinen wunderbaren Riad entdeckt. Das Personal begrüßte uns sofort mit ein Willkommenstee und wir haben seitdem 5 volle Tage verbracht. Ein üppiges Frühstück, lecker und liebevoll vorbereitet. Das Personal steht jederzeit zur Verfügung. Wir können es einfach empfehlen!

A door rather than curtain on bathroom would have been good.
