PALACIO AL ANDALUS

First the good. The main building of this riad has nicely decorated floors and walls. A narrow set of stairs with one or two rooms per floor. If you climb up to the 4th Floor, you get a beautiful view of the town and hills nearby.  The breakfast was good, a set menu, served at the table with fresh orange juice, coffee, Moroccan breads and egg omlette.

We were in room #4, in the building  on top floor and by the time you reach to your room through narrow staircase, you are exhausted!! Very basic room and yiu could see lots of mosquitoes there. We were given mosquito killer spray to get rid of them.Air in the room was stale and sewage smell emitting from attached washroom. Surprisingly no exhaust fan in the washroom.We could not leave window open due to the fear of mosquitoes. Wifi in the room was slow and  lost connection intermittently I would not recommend this riad if you have even mild mobility issues. There are steps everywhere.  We could not find the hotel, even with google maps. We called the hotel for directions but it took a dozen calls before someone responded and sent a person to direct us and help with luggage. On checkout, there was no one to help us bring the luggage down. We had to bring it down and drag downhill to our van."

Noisy and too crowded with youngsters coming just to take photos. Quite dirty.

Tout le personnel de l'établissement est très aimable et aidant. Très bien situé à l'entrée de la médina, zone des taxis, indispensables à Chefchaouen, toute proche. Terrasse magnifique et très bon petit déjeuner. Climatisation performante et silencieuse.

Éviter la chambre 3 : odeur de canalisation très désagréable de la salle de bain. Eau chaude fluctuante.

Personal, ubicación y desayuno

Es hermoso, cómodo. Con varias terrazas, las mujeres que trabajan allí son muy amables y la comida que sirven en el lugar es deliciosa.

Todo estuvo perfecto.

Sehr zentrale Lage, gut auffindbar und schnell an allen wichtigen Orten. Der Rezeptionist war außergewöhnlich freundlich, hilfsbereit und sprach perfektes Englisch. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und haben uns direkt wohlgefühlt. Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt – klare Empfehlung! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The location was absolutely perfect: central to the old city and steps away from the parking for cabs. The staff was kind and super helpful- they even helped us plan an amazing trip to Akchour! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!
