Great home and location

there is a lot to like. It is a good location, and the house is spacious. Handy to have the sleepout. Great sofas and rugs in the living area - made the place comfy on cold, wet summer days. Good towels, crisp linen and good bed. Excellent internet. Lots of glasses, bowls etc. Clear instructions on arrival. House was nice and warm. Great to have a hot tub.

The hot tub really needs steps or a something to hold on to to make it easier to get in and out. There was no bath mat for the shower, and no towels for the hot tub. The info folder needed to be cleaner. The cleaning in the bathroom was not great. Found long dark hair in the toothbrush mug and toilet. Some of the cushions in the living room need fresh covers. Badly ripped curtains in the second bedroom. The things that had been updated were good, but those that had not been addressed really dragged the place down. For instance, the surface was coming off the bath and the rest of the bathroom and toilet fit-out was very outdated, not clean and fresh.

It had everything we needed for a week long holiday. Perfect location too.

An extremely well stocked kitchen, great washing machine and dryer, comfortable beds, having the spa and bbq facilities were a great plus. The lounge was very comfortable, and the house has a nice modern decor. The house was situated in a nice area and the shopping centers were a short drive away. We found the house to be very comfortable and would recommend to our family and friends visiting Rotorua to stay here.

the dishwasher could be a little temperamental and bathrooms were dated (but clean). As a suggestion this property would benefit from having ceiling/pedestal fans in bedrooms as It could be quite hot at night and there was not always a breeze. They could possibly help with pushing away the sulfur smell out of rooms.

Comfortable space for a group of adults, well equipped, nice garden and deck, very quiet. WiFi worked well. Wish we’d had time to use the hot tub. Short drive to town for good selection of restaurants and shops. Check in via lockbox worked smoothly and allowed us to be flexible with plans.

En-suite bedroom is in a separate annex so you have to cross the garden from the main house, which wasn’t ideal in the rain and may not be suitable for some families. Note that the parking space is short - our large hire car only just fitted.
