The Jericho Studio

Great location close to restaurants, coffee shops, and the Oxford canal walking path. Well designed small space. Everything functional. Handy to have washing machine and dishwasher.

The studio had everything you would need. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. The overall feel is that of a cosy cottage. With an electric fireplace in the main room, it is a perfect base to relax after a busy day. Exceeded expectations.

The only nitpicks - the toilet wobbles a bit, this should be secured. The doorknob from the main room to the kitchen is loose and falls off, this should be fixed. Other than this, there are no issues.

Location is great. Cheerful & well presented. Everything works.

It is what it is. A little basement bedsit, prettied up & reasonably appointed.

It was a trip to my city of birth and where in 1969 I had a brain tumour successfully removed. I enjoyed many conversations with my hosts and learnt her son went to the same school as me and handily knew engineering and was able to repair my rollator before I went home. Unfortunately I only enjoyed one week as .y partner had a bereavement and I needed to support her. Oxford has changed alot but we.enjoyed our stay..

Well we chose or I chose affordability price wise and knew I'd need to negotiate the stairs to a basement flat my partner was less enameredas she smashed her ankles and found it hard going. So watched more tv..

This snugly compact basement flat is located in a quiet residential street, close to great pubs and restaurants and an easy walk into Oxford city centre. It is clean and nicely decorated though has a few paint and snagging issues. The bed is comfortable, with good linen, though without pillow protectors. The kitchen is well equipped and the shower room is small. This flat is not for big people, nor if there are mobility issues. We enjoyed our stay but thought it expensive. The start up provisions of a few teabags, coffee, & UHT sachets was rather mean considering the price of the nightly rate. There is daytime footfall noise from the house above. The 4pm check in and 10 am check out is rather brutal and though you can extend the morning check out, that comes at a price. Again for the overall expense of the let, it seems mean spirited.
