The Falls Cottages

Lovely place in the Midlands.

It was peaceful and the gardens were beautiful. The bed was really comfortable and the space was good. The location was perfect. The hosts were great.

We loved the place but some areas that could be addressed if possible are the water - the bath water colour with sediment was a bit disconcerting and the filter water tap in the kitchen was not working. Maybe a filter on the bathroom tap would help at least stop sediment. The 3 flies in the apartment were irritating and refused to leave so maybe a doom in the property would be good. A small oven would also be good to have. As when it rains there’s no undercover place to braai. And a shade cloth cover for my car to park under cause the sun was harsh. But these are wishlist items. The light fittings could be dusted as the spiders work quick in the country. But we loved the property and the hosts were really helpful. We felt safe and taken care of.

It is central to everything in the midlands.

It felt abandoned, did not see or meet the host. No instructions were left for us. The room had a strange smell. Bath was very small for me. Water ran very slow. Tap water was dirty. Water falls are not visible from the accommodation.
